Humility Homes and Services began as Humility of Mary Housing, Inc, and was established in 1990. In 2008, Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. was entrusted by the City of Davenport to manage the local emergency homeless shelter. This shelter was subsequently renamed to Humility of Mary Shelter. Ten years later, in 2018, a merger occurred between Humility of Mary Housing and Humility of Mary Shelter, resulting in the formation of Humility Homes and Services.
Humility Homes and Services provides many resources for the community, Here are some of the services they offer: Street outreach, emergency shelter, rapid rehousing, veterans housing programs and supportive services, supportive housing, mission focused housing, fresh start center and corner closet.

Humility Homes and Services, serving the Quad Cities community, offers extensive support for individuals experiencing homelessness. The organization provides 152 properties and has an 80-bed shelter available. Additionally, as a low-barrier shelter, Humility Homes and Services simplifies access to assistance, requiring minimal means testing, thus making it easier for those in need to qualify for help.
